Two Bangladeshi nationals shot dead in New York

Two Bangladeshi nationals were shot dead in broad daylight in the city of Buffalo in the US state of New York.

The killings took place around 12:30pm on Saturday local time on Zenner Street, according to the New York police.
The deceased are Babul Uddin from Cumilla, and Yusuf Miah from Sylhet, said Muktodhara Foundation General Secretary Bishwajit Saha quoting local Bangladesh community activist Habib Rahman.
The shooting took place at Babul's residence on Jenner Street in Buffalo, at the aforementioned time.
Upon receiving reports of the shooting, police and a SWAT team swiftly responded to the scene. The area was cordoned off for approximately six hours as authorities conducted their investigation.
While the police confirmed the gender of the victims as male, they did not disclose their identities nor did they provide information regarding the arrest of any suspects.
