Iran's supreme leader Khamenei rules out negotiations with Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday ruled out any possibility of negotiations with Israel, vowing that Iran would continue to retaliate against Israeli aggression.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Khamenei declared, “We will deliver a decisive response to the terrorist Zionist regime. The Zionists will receive no mercy from us.”
The remarks came a day after US President Donald Trump warned that Washington is fully aware of Khamenei’s whereabouts, adding that the Iranian leader is “safe for now,” but cautioned that “our patience is running out.”
Tensions in the region have sharply intensified since Friday following Israeli air raids targeting various locations across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities. Tehran responded with missile strikes in retaliation.
According to Israeli officials, at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds more injured due to Iran’s missile attacks. In contrast, Iranian authorities report that Israeli strikes have left at least 224 dead and over 1,000 wounded.
