Italy backs Bangladesh's democratic transition, endorses July charter reforms
Italy has expressed full support for Bangladesh’s democratic transition and the July charter, which aims to introduce sweeping reforms for the country’s democratic renewal, an Italian deputy minister said yesterday.
Italy’s Undersecretary for Defence Matteo Perego di Cremnago made the remarks during a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka, according to a press release from the Chief Adviser’s press wing.
