Mild 4.1 magnitude earthquake felt in parts of Bangladesh
A mild earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt across parts of Bangladesh early on Tuesday, seismological agencies said.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) and India's National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that the tremor struck at 4:36 am on 3 February. Bangladesh's Meteorological Department said the epicentre was in Kolaroa of Satkhira district, with the quake originating at a depth of about 150 kilometres.
