Bangladesh urges global response to Israel's actions endangering global peace
Bangladesh has urged the international community to take decisive action against Israel’s recent military aggression, warning that such actions pose serious risks to both regional stability and global peace.
Speaking at the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain strongly condemned Israel’s attack on Iran, labeling it illegal and provocative. He called for an immediate halt to such hostilities.
Hossain described the Israeli assault as a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Iran’s sovereignty. “These reckless moves by Israel risk destabilizing the entire region and undermining global peace and security,” he said. He urged the international community to hold Israel accountable and work collectively to promote peace through diplomacy and adherence to international norms.
The adviser also reiterated Bangladesh’s call for an end to Israel’s ongoing military aggression in Palestine.
He stressed the need for the OIC to remain united and proactive in pursuing justice through international legal mechanisms like the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC).
