Trump accuses China, N. Korea, Russia of conspiring against US

US President Donald Trump has accused China, North Korea, and Russia of jointly working against American interests, as Beijing staged its largest-ever military parade showcasing an arsenal of advanced weaponry and expanding military power.

In a message posted Tuesday on his Truth Social platform, Trump questioned whether Chinese President Xi Jinping would acknowledge the historic role the United States played in helping China resist foreign invasion during World War II.
“The big question is whether President Xi will recognize the immense support, sacrifices, and blood shed by Americans who helped secure China’s freedom from a hostile aggressor,” Trump wrote. He added that countless US soldiers gave their lives during China’s wartime struggle and that their sacrifice “should be honored and remembered.”
Striking a mix of sarcasm and warning, Trump continued: “May President Xi and the great people of China enjoy their celebration. Please also give my regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States of America.”
The massive parade at Tiananmen Square included gun salutes, military formations, columns of tanks, drone swarms, cyber and electronic warfare demonstrations, underwater combat equipment, and hypersonic missile systems—all domestically manufactured. Xi, accompanied by his wife Peng Liyuan, greeted foreign leaders at the venue before delivering a speech urging the world to “choose peace over conflict” and avoid repeating past tragedies.
The guest list reflected Beijing’s growing alignment with countries at odds with Washington and its allies. Among those present were Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Myanmar junta chief Min Aung Hlaing, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
The event commemorated China’s victory over Japanese occupation in World War II, a deeply symbolic moment in Chinese history. The last major parade marking the anniversary was held in 2015 under Xi’s leadership.
Analysts say the scale and messaging of this year’s parade send a clear signal: Beijing is projecting itself not only as a global power but also as the central rallying point for countries challenging US dominance.
