US sent Iran 15-point plan to end war

The United States has delivered a 15-point proposal to Iran aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, according to a report by The New York Times.

The plan was reportedly transmitted through Pakistan and includes provisions addressing Iran’s nuclear programme, ballistic missile development and security in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil transit route.
Diplomatic sources say Pakistan's Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has emerged as a key intermediary, facilitating indirect communication between Washington and Tehran. Pakistan has also expressed readiness to host direct negotiations if both sides agree, signaling a possible path toward de-escalation.
It remains uncertain whether Iran will accept the proposal or whether Israel supports the initiative as the conflict enters its fourth week. Iranian officials have acknowledged receiving messages relayed by what they described as “friendly countries” but continue to deny any direct negotiations with the United States.
US President Donald Trump announced a five-day pause in planned strikes on Iran’s power grid and energy infrastructure, citing what he described as “very good and productive” discussions in recent days. The move is widely seen as an effort to create diplomatic space while tensions remain high.
Since the escalation began on February 28, US and Israeli strikes have caused significant casualties in Iran, with reports indicating more than 1,300 deaths, including senior figures such as Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and sites in Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, damaging infrastructure, disrupting aviation and adding volatility to global energy markets.
