5 soldiers shot at US Army base in state of Georgia
Five soldiers were shot Wednesday in an active shooter incident at the Fort Stewart base in the US state of Georgia.
"All soldiers were treated on-site and moved to Winn Army Community Hospital for further treatment. There is no active threat to the community," the Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield (FSHAA) said on Facebook.
Senior Commander Army Brig. Gen. John Lubas said at a news conference that all five soldiers are in stable condition and are expected to recover.
